The journal entry continues. I was crazy. Luckily I didn't have time. We had to leave quickly, and that may have had something to do with it, I don't know. Anyway, we left in a rush, and that might have something to do with it. I saw that place, and a girl who was me, and all the people with her, helping her, supporting her. And she said I had to stand up for myself, and I could win. She was somewhere - a tavern? - and she was me, but I saw her from outside, like a dream. It's all very confusing in my head. So then we were in this white room, and I just didn't know what to do. And Enedel wanted to go off and have a conversation his way, like always. So I let him have it. I told him I was not evil and I was not going to do the demon thing. Amazingly, he took it. And he took the nut away and took me out here to this place. There was a cave - and the Name - it's a little blurry in my mind, but it was beautiful. The other girl was there - I could feel her. She's not me anymore. She's free. He's left me here in the desert, to study magic. I can't describe what it was like, the first time, to see a light glowing in my hand in response to my will. So many things. Time to think. The Hero's Journey. I remember.
